We’re honored to have a role in flood recovery.
The Community Foundation announces all flood relief funds allocated and flood recovery accomplishments at two-year anniversary
Impact – together, with our nonprofit grant partners and the incredible support of our community, that’s what we have been able to do over the past two years, in the lives of Tennessee flood victims.
To date, all of the flood relief contributions entrusted to The Community Foundation have been distributed or allocated to organizations addressing flood recovery throughout Tennessee.

Corporate Care Funds provide streamlined charitable solution for businesses to help employees
Caring companies now have a charitable avenue to help their employees when the unforeseen strikes, from natural disaster to unexpected illness.
Corporate Care Funds, facilitated through The Community Foundation, provide short-term, emergency support to employees or eligible dependents who are facing serious financial hardship due to a qualifying circumstance.
The corporation and/or its employees make tax-deductible gifts to the fund, and The Community Foundation handles the rest.
Have you ever dreamed you could give a gift that would keep giving?
The late Betty Brown planted thousands of trees in our community, never expecting to enjoy their shade. Nashvillians have her to thank for green spaces and shaded spots throughout the city. Within The Community Foundation, her legacy lives on through an endowed Fund to benefit the Nashville Tree Foundation.
Now, there’s a permanent stream of support for the continued planting of seeds, and to carry on Betty’s commitment to the needs of generations to come. The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee helps donors create endowments for the future of our communities.
Through the power of endowment, your gift can grow over time while making grants to accomplish good things now, and for years to come. Check our endowment calculator to see the possibilities!
Lessons only sports can teach
Whether at the competitive level or just a recreational one, sports often provide positive and constructive after-school activities that can be a deciding factor in a student staying in school, and making other positive life choices. Being part of a team can also promote active, healthy lifestyles, and life-long habits such as discipline and self-respect, among people of all ages, all races and all backgrounds.
Introducing, The Sports Fund of The Community Foundation: From the ball field to the chess club, we're focusing on prevention through sports and team membership.
Join our team at The Sports Fund to help give kids in our community a sporting chance to compete in life.
